A gallery of sorts. Offering antiques, design and art. Every item is here for a reason- the collection is the product of my life-long passion for beautiful, functional and compelling design. I strive to bring pieces that you won’t see anywhere else, and lamps are my favorite. Twice-featured in ArchDigest online’s top vintage stores in America, it was a hidden gem located in Portland Oregon’s southeast industrial district. The city changed and I got old so now the store is a bit more abstract in form. I travel to buy most of this stuff, and the store itself has moved around a bit. Currently installed featuring an edited collection inside Lovett Deconstruction in Northwest Portland Oregon- a wonderful place that is open 7 days a week. Also now more than ever before-here, on the internet. Studio visits by appointment. Show schedule for fall/winter tba.❤️

Focusing on post-war decorative arts and offering the best in modernist furniture & lighting as well as just about anything which speaks for itself; including folk art and contemporary fine art. Selected vintage design clothing on occasion as well.

Midnight Sunlight is about process; and I believe that it is in the seeking, (or through the journey) which one finds meaning.

Each item is hand-selected, carefully restored (as is appropriate) thoughtfully presented. I believe in keeping meaningful things around, and hope each customer feels a sense of connection when they purchase an item from my shop.

Midnight Sunlight offers interior design consulting to clients on a project basis. Sourcing requests for specific items and client wish-lists are always welcome.
