A special hammer. Big on style and compact in scale. Design patent dates to fall 1928 by NYC foundry Mitteldorfer-Strauss. The ornamental hammer was said to have been given as a token gift with a purchased sack of flour. The hammer is all original and very scarce. Original orange painted wood handle with ball detail is just so charming.
The bronze goat head hammer is a conversation starter and quite lovely object of practical function or to admire.
