An iconic design by Finland’s most celebrated lighting designer. Made in Finland by Taito Oy, 1950s.
Lacquered perforated steel shade, brass stem and cast iron base. This example has a lovely history about it. Appears to have been painted and worn away along the brass elements ages ago- the result is unique and soulful while being in still very good vintage condition. Shade and base also later repainted- presents well/ there are no dents or other issues to report.
Rare lamp, beautiful example.
